If you've been watching my Instagram stories, you've probably seen a little unboxing of this bag and a poll asking if it was a keeper. I appreciate everyone who took the time to respond to the poll; I truly appreciate your thoughts! I must admit that I think I agree with you guys when I saw how many of you thumbs-downed the Chanel bag last week. As far as I can remember, slightly more than half of you stated that it was a keeper (darn, I wish I had taken a screenshot of the poll before the 24-hour period ended!). Furthermore, I had mixed feelings regarding this bag. This purse I bought secondhand from Fashionphile. You can hardly tell that the 2015 version of the bag has some wear on the strap and outside, isn't that right?

What I adore about the bag is this:

- The strong fabric strap never came loose from my shoulders.

- My iPhone 7+ (which never fell out) fit well in the roomy, deep external pockets. Furthermore, I didn't have to rummage into the bag to get my phone because the pockets were on the outside.

- and the bucket bag's enormous capacity, which let me just keep stuffing everything inside till I ran out.

What I didn't enjoy about the bag was as follows:

The bag's hook clasp isn't very secure, so unless I was wearing it over my shoulder and holding it closed with my arm, the bag was pretty much always gaping wide. Additionally, until the bag was extremely full—in the photos, I'm only holding my regular items, which include a makeup pouch, phone, wallet, and keys—the clasp would come undone.

Occasionally, the bag was excessively large and deep, making it difficult for me to locate anything. Furthermore, with the bag still slung over my shoulder, I was unable to reach inside. Rather, I would have to remove it and use one hand to hold the strap while the other reached down into the bag. While the bag is still on their shoulder, someone with longer arms might be able to reach inside it.

This grained calfskin bag's interior is suede, but because it's been around for a while, the suede has begun to peel off and stick to the contents, especially my cotton canvas makeup purse.

Even though I still appreciate this Sangle purse, I ultimately made the decision to return it. I'm not sure about it at all, but since I didn't love it at first, I believe that now that I've returned it, I won't miss it. If you only want to carry one bag, this would be a wonderful work bag (my 13" laptop fit in the bag with ease). However, this bucket bag is a bit big for my everyday use because I already have a work bag and a separate personal purse for my necessities.

Nevertheless, this bag—I mean, this same bag—is currently back up at Fashionphile if you would like to test it out. This is where you may locate it. I'm also tempted to acquire the tan smooth leather version that Fashionphile currently has, especially since I'm returning the Chanel flap bag.

In addition, I did some research before purchasing this bag to make sure it was authentic (I looked it up online and visited Saks and Barneys to see the real ones). You do need to exercise caution because there are counterfeit Celine Sangle bags available. Unless the bag is made of smooth leather and has an extra leather strap, authentic Celine Sangle bags have the Celine logo engraved in gold on the front. Since this Sangle doesn't have an additional strap and you can't see any other markers to confirm authenticity, for instance, I would question its authenticity. One side of the internal zipper should read "Celine," and the zipper's inner view should bear a number. The words "Celine, Made in Italy" should be embossed in two rows on the leather of the pocket. There should only be one row of numbers on the leather serial number tag. With the two 'e's facing the strap, the words Celine should be shown on the hardware of the strap clasp. In any case, I hope it was helpful to everyone who was considering buying a used Celine Sangle!

Update: Alright, so I sent back the blue one and quickly snapped up the smooth, light caramel one made of calfskin. And I'm so happy that I chose to return the navy for this one. The interior suede material isn't breaking apart like the other one was, which is something I really like about the smooth leathered version (though it might be because this light caramel version is a year newer than the navy one). On the other hand, the variant with smooth leather is much more fragile and prone to scratches. However, since I want to use this bag on a daily basis and it arrived already scratched, I don't mind the scratches as much. This also came with a strong leather strap, but because the cotton one fits my shoulder better, I like it. Regardless, these are a few photos of my pale caramel Celine Seau Sangle:
