With great pleasure, Givenchy introduces Antigona Sport, the newest handbag in the Antigona line.



Antigona Sport, designed in the same spirit as the original, famous form, distills the Antigona's essential lines into an adaptable, daily style while revisiting a distinctive aesthetic in a supple leather version that naturally plays on symmetry. A fresh perspective on contemporary style is highlighted by the contrast between the soft, silky leather and the sleek, braided strap.



Simple, uncomplicated, and easygoing, the Antigona Sport retains the essence of its family's traits with a sophisticated build and subtly opulent accents. Its trendy attitude is further emphasized by hardware signatures created especially for it by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams, like delicate strap accents and an articulated, large zip pull with the 4G insignia imprinted on it.

The Antigona Sport, which is made of somewhat glossy calfskin, embodies every aspect of Givenchy's expertise in leather craftsmanship. Smoothly curved handles are held in place by leather tabs that are sewn. Hand-sewn leather squares on the base subtly shield the bag's body from abrasions. A gilded signature with the 4G emblem on one face and "Givenchy" writing hot-stamped on the other highlights the design's defining duality and is present on both sides of the bag. A roomy interior holds a streamlined pocket to hold cards and other necessities close at hand, embellished with a leather Givenchy patch.



A chain strap woven with leather gave the tiny a refined touch on the Spring-Summer 2022 catwalk, while an adjustable woven strap with "Givenchy" lettering maximizes wearability on the small and medium sizes. These plays on texture let the Antigona Sport to make a striking style statement.
